Cisco is hiring for the Software QA Engineer role in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
The role focuses on validating Cisco wireless platforms through test planning, automation, and system behavior analysis.
The candidate will work as a QA / Automation Engineer in real networking environments and lab setups.
The position involves writing and executing test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems.
Candidates will develop automation scripts, analyze test results, and reproduce customer or system issues.
The role provides hands-on experience with routers, switches, access points, and modern AI-assisted development tools.
The position requires strong programming, networking, testing, debugging, and collaboration skills.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 1-3 years of experience.

Write and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar languages.
Analyze test results and identify issues, inconsistencies, or performance gaps.
Reproduce customer and system issues in controlled lab environments.
Assist in setting up and maintaining testbeds and lab environments including routers, switches, and access points.
Collaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve issues.
Validate Cisco wireless platforms by analyzing system behavior and quality outcomes.
Use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve testing, automation, and debugging productivity.
